Australia's most boring State capital
Brisbane remains little more than a big country town. Compared to Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart, it has few buildings of any note, but strange customs such as eating dinner at 5 or 5.30pm. Uncivilsed and way behind Melbourne's wonderful alleyways that are full of trendy cafes, Brisbane wouldn't know how to spell 'sophisticated.'
