Dream hotel full of friendly personnel (and many, many quiet Germans). Who complains here, complains everywhere. Ideal for beach holiday. In order to explore the area you need a car (because the train mostly doesn't work the way you expect it to).

Really nice hotel located in an amazing garden which is extremely well maintained. The rooms are lovely and we had an amazing view of the sea (not all rooms have that). The staff are extremely friendly and the food is delicious. Tropea's beach is about a 15 minute walk and can be reached via the street or by walking along the beach (take the lift down). I can recommend a visit to the Eollian Islands, Locri / Gerace, Reggio Calabrie. You can also take a train to Pizzo and Capo Vaticano. Tropea's station is about a 20 minute walk. This area is really only suitable for people who don't have trouble walking. I can really recommend this place!!

Just lovely. It was nice and quiet because the season hadn't started. Lovely each (one downside: the beach is shingle). The recliners were comfortable. It was a 20 minute walk to Tropea, a nice village, which has a lovely ice-cream parlour (Tonino). The staff were extremely friendly. Nice park, nicely maintained, everything was really clean and looked great. Nice, spacious room with an amazing view of the sea. The food was just divine, there was plenty of variety and the cakes were delicious. The free drinks were nice too. Lots of German tourists aged about 50+. This is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday where you can just kick back and relax.

Not many Italian guests during our stay here, 95% of the hotelguests was German. :( Further a gorgeous hotel, located on a big domain, gorgeous garden, a lot of entertainment, you should go and see a show in the amfitheatre on the property!! The food was very good, a lot of choice, rooms very clean, more than enough beachbeds on the beach. The automatic shutters in the bedrooms were great, we slept like logs!! Horseriding organized by the hotel every friday, in the beautiful surroundings finished with a barbecue, recommendable!! Minus points: clean towels only every 2 days, too many Germans and if you want a place by the pool you have to get up early.

Rocca Nettuno is a very beautiful resort with gorgeously laied gardens and lawns. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is good entertainment for the children in the evenings and during the day and also the parents are entertained in the swimming pool and the theatre. The average age of the guests is around 40-45 which directly leads us to the big amount of German Guests here. The food is very good, especially the pizza's in the beachrestaurant.
