Riu, you were AMAZING!
This was one of the most amazing experiences I've had so far. Rooms are very modern + fresh, the pool offers a breath-taking views over the sea, the food and variety is amazing and the service is excellent! Even though I visited the hotel with my family, Riu is really an hotel that is able to welcome guests of any age as they host all kind of different events; theme evenings, live music and have different types of bars/restaurants, sports area, wellness, even hairdresser ans manicure! Special thanks to Pedro, who has been a great host in the 10 days that we've been here. My compliments Riu, it has been a real pleasure and I'm definitely coming back!

Although it is quite oldish hotel (to be renovated in 2014), it is very clean. You immediately see friendly attitude of the staff. On arrival we got an unexpected upgrade. Moreover, we were given a lot of attention when renting a car, telling us about the various possible trips to see the island. In addition, nearby there were shops of better brands nearby (this is not a standard, usually these places are tourist shops with unnecessary souvenirs). In the area you can also find good restaurants. Conclusion: great location, great staff. I would recommend it.

We stayed at this place for a week in June. This hotel was very nice. I did not expect less from a Riu hotel. The service is fantastic, the sky is the limit. Lots of old people staying at this place, so we felt rather young. We stayed here with our kids. We did not like the towel thing at the pool and the fact that the personnel assumed we were German. Some of them even spoke Dutch. The bathroom could use a renovation, but that was the only drawback we found. Apart from that, this is a neat and clean place. A great location. Not very close to the beach though. Shops and a restaurant around the corner. A great location for a peaceful stay.

After spending 17 days in this hotel we very satisfied about our stay. This was an excellent choice. Open infrastructure, excellent location, delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. After staying at different hotels in the area we have decided to come back to Palace Meloneras next year. If you have children, you should go to the neighbouring hotel, also a RIU but that one is a club hotel. Another tip is the Las Vegas show at the casino, not expensive and very professional. The golf courts in the area are excellent but a bit high-priced. Strolling down the promenade at night and having a champagne-snagria at an outside café while watching the setting sun: WONDERFUL!!!! Stayed from August 24 to September 8.

There are lots of old people staying at this hotel and we did not expect that. Luckily there were some kids to play with. The personnel was great, the hotel was fantastic, a great location, but just a few kids staying at this place.

Good hotel, staff is quite nice. Too bad that the beach is quite far when you're disabled, but it's also pleasant at the two swimming pools. We believe that this is the best hotel of the island.

Attention for everything, for example at our late arrival at 11.00 PM, there was a meal for us. Small repairs, for example the drying rack, was executed immediately. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception, swimming pool and at the restaurant. Maids are friendly, polight and serious, housekeeping is checked. They took our request for a room at the ground floor into account, we had a fine room there. Riu Palace Meloneras was a succes to stay for the second time.

Incredibly good hotel. Very tasty food with a lot of variation. Nice wine. Very friendly staff. Very pretty, well-kept rooms. Right next to the beach. Only downside was that it's really a hotel for adults and not really for children or teenagers.
