Wonderful time!
Arjen and Somjai were fantastic. Their hospitality made us feel at home. Learning more about the monkeys and how/why they are trained was a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing experience at an amazing location.
Our bungalow was very nice and comfortable and the owners very nice and helpfully. We loved our short stay and feed and play with the monkey's they are really almost human. Its a very nice and calm place where we enjoyed nature,,,,,monkey's our romantic bungalow. Recommended if you want see the other side of Thailand far away from bars and nightlife.

Great & good experience with animals & host
To see how much love you can give to dogs an monkeys without denying that they're animals kept for the use of man. If you don't like dogs it's not a good place to be, cause there are a dozen of them. The least I liked my girlfriend talking whole night threw with our host while I became too tired.

Very Welcoming and amazing place to go visit.
Their hospitality was amazing and the monkeys were a very fun change from all of the other home stays. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a different but fun and relaxing time.

Amazing visit of the First Monkey School
. After having initially ended up at a different one we found 'The First Monkey School' and a first it deserves! We were completely taken aback by the organisation and ethics of the place, and the genuine enthusiasm and eagerness of both Somjai and Arjan to share their profession. We learned a lot about the character of monkeys an how to approach and play with them, how they are being taught and ultimately love to demonstrate to you how to get a coconut out of a 15m high tree! Its also an amazing experience to have a monkey climbing all over you, very different from what I imagined! Further we learned about coconut harvesting, peeling, cracking, drinking, eating and how to extract the purest oil out of them. We were only there for 3 hrs and felt we could have stayed there all day!! All in all an amazing experience to meet these people and sofar to be rated one of the best during our holidays in Thailand.

A highlight of our Thailand trip
Our family of 4 (2 adults, a 7 and 11 year old) had a great time staying at the First Monkey School with Jai and Arjen (2 nights). The huts are comfortable and perfect for what they are (good beds, fan, shower, fridge and outside seating). You have a great view of the monkeys while sitting on the deck of the huts. Jai is a fantastic cook and Arjen is a great host. Jai is clearly in her element when around the monkeys and watching her give the demonstration was very nice. We were allowed to play with some of the younger monkeys, which the kids (and us alike) enjoyed very much. Watch out for your glasses though, as the monkeys are very fast ;-). Hope to be back sometime. Thanks for your great care AArjen & JAi!
