This is a really nice hotel. The rooms were clean and nicely maintained. Breakfast was really nice. The dining room was too small though. The location was good as it's near the sights.

Everything about this hotel was dissapointing. The hotel is not charming; it is old. The "garden" is just a patch of grass. The mattresses in the rooms were thin and lumpy. The sheets were hard and thin. There was very little counter space in the washroom for toiletries. The towel rack was inconviently on the opposite side wall from the shower. The shower head as hand held only. And there was no coffee maker or tea pot. The staff was rude and not very helpful. There was only one person at the reception desk; the night shift was always on the phone talking to friends. Breakfast lacked variety. The orange juice and apple juice didn't seem like they were made out of juice at all. And the cups where not washed very well. Smoke seemed to have seeped into every crevice of the hotel. We were supposedly 'upgraded' to a triple room for our first night, which turned our to be a smoking room. We were asked to change rooms for the second night to a standard double room which we had initially book. This turned out to be a smoking as well. We paid a premium during our stay because we stayed over new years. This was definately not worth the money that we paid. And I would not recommend this hotel for anyone.

Comfortable hotel, centrally located in a quiet situation. English speaking staff who we found to be polite & helpful. A good value for money choice.

Traditional building which added to the charm of being in Prague and a fabulous location - central but quiet. Service was attentive, room lovely, breakfast plentiful, bathroom sparkling. The Ultramarin Bar is a perfect spot for a drink or dinner and there are some lovely restaurants nearby that serve great food without the tourist price tags. Had a really lovely time.

Good situation. Breakfast was OK but dining room rather dark. Rooms comfortable - our twin was rather small. Overall it was fine but feel it is possibly overpriced.

Rooms are very small and with the sloping ceilings it is very difficult for tall people - my husband is 6' 4" and I am 5' 9" and we found we were bending over in the rooms. I had to crawl in and out of bed. I would not use the hotel again or recommend it. I do not regard the hotel as a 4 Star.

Great location - within walking distance of all the main sights. Beautifully restored hotel, although rooms on the upper floors very small due to sloped ceilings. This did not matter as we spent very little time in our rooms. Bathrooms clean and modern. Nice bar and lounge areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate - large range of breads, cold meats, etc, and a small selection of hot food. Would definately return here.

Small and friendly hotel, located within easy walking distance of all the major sights. Relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. Helpful staff. Well furnished throughout - rooms are individually styled in traditional decor. Inclusive breakfast is very good - wide range of food and you can eat as much as you want. Would definitely recommend this as an alternative to the big hotels in Prague.

The Hotel itself was fine, although we had a top floor room which was very, very small, with a sloping ceiling. When I got out of bed, I couldn't stand up until I had made by way along the side of the bed to the bottom. The breakfasts were excellent though. If you stay there, ask for anything but a top floor room.
