We spent 2 nights here, the 11th and 12th of May. We received a room (nr.1) that was much too small, but with a fantastic view. I agree with Leny's review. Indeed no cold water, so taking a shower wasn't possible, flushing the toilet wasn't possible either. The pool was half full. The bed was too soft. We complained all day long and asked them when they were going to fix the water. Eventually we received another room, a beautiful room, room 311, also with a super view!! The room and the bathroom were twice as big as room nr.1, the beds were still too soft, but we had enough space in that room though. If you ask us, they had still plenty of rooms available at that moment.

What a brilliant view. The surroundings/view from the room are gorgeous, the hotel bungalow itself is terrible! We could barely walk around, the bed which wasn't a big problem for us but the toilet was clean when we arrived but it didn't have any water. After informing the reception they tell everyone the same joke; the water has to be brought in by a tank. Result: 2 days of crap and piss in the toilet while it was 30 degrees. The food was below average, they served food from the day before. With check-out we told them we were going to report this because they brought up that tank story again. Conclusion: aged bungalows, they didn't make an effort for water/electricity, terrible shower, a 50 year old bathroom cupboard with plastic turned yellow hanging way too high, swimming pool not full, also the tank story. Besides that an unpleasant bar indeed but you shouldn't go there. Better sit on your own little terrace with a mojito and cuba libre to enjoy the magnificent view.

A lovely view of the magnificent valley. You're able to walk to the Mogotes. No water supply in the morning. We can recommend this place. A lovely view and it's Cuba, don’t forget.

A great location. A lovely view of the valley and Mogotes while enjoying the silence and the birds. Lovely! A poor hotel. Past glory maybe. We booked a cottage in the garden. Poor beds, a dirty room, a noisy air conditioning system. No water for a day and a night. Poor meals. A poor atmosphere. A typical Cuban hotel. A crowded pool, creaking recliners, dangerous things. Poor food (diarrhoea afterwards). Poor service. I can recommend the Vinales valley. It's worth a visit. The pictures will compensate the other things. There isn't exactly an alternative....it's that simple.
